Bonneville Power Administration

Overview

The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) is a federal non-profit agency under the U.S. Department of Energy that markets wholesale electrical power from 31 federal hydroelectric projects and non-federal plants in the Columbia River Basin. It supplies about one-third of the electricity used in the Pacific Northwest and operates over 15,000 miles of high-voltage transmission lines.

  • Oregon, Washington, Idaho (Primary duty stations are Vancouver WA, Portland OR, Spokane WA and other, smaller duty stations spread throughout BPAs territory
